Boeing Classic
27 August 2018

Boeing Classic I may not be the healthiest or smartest or fittest, so maybe I\'ve just resonated with fans. Crowds have always been very kind to me wherever I have played and I hope that continues

Darren, who turned 50 on the 14th August, began a new chapter in his career this week when he played in the Boeing Classic at Snoqualmie Ridge, Washington, on the PGA Tour Champions in the USA.

Darren shot rounds of 68 76 and 66 and finished in a tie for 24th on six under par. The winner was Scott Parel on eighteen under par.

Darren heads to Canada for the Shaw Charity Classic at Canyon Meadows Golf and Country Club in Calgary which begins on Friday.

Thoughts before the Boeing Classic:

“I’ll be a little bit nervous getting started again, but I’m looking forward to it,” said Clarke during his Wednesday press conference. “I’ve got to find my feet. I’ve got to figure out where my game is at because I haven’t really been that competitive for that long. I’ll see what I really need to work on over the next couple weeks.”

"I may not be the healthiest or smartest or fittest, so maybe I've just resonated with fans. Crowds have always been very kind to me wherever I have played and I hope that continues."
