Sanford International It's nice to be back in the winner's circle again.

Darren picked up a third PGA Champions win of the season at the Sanford International in a thrilling play-off.

The Northern Irishman opened the tournament with a 63 and a 70 and was four off the lead going into the final day at Sioux Falls.

Despite a bogey on his first hole of the day, Darren fought his way back into the mix with four birdies on the back nine helping him to a 65 that took him into a three-way tie with Steve Flesch and KJ Choi.

Darren almost drove the green on the first play-off hole but eventually made par, along with Choi, while Flesch dropped out with a bogey.

He then produced a birdie on the second play-off hole to take the title, which follows on from November's success at the TimberTech Championship and his win at January's Mitsubishi Electric Championship.

Darren said: "It's nice to be back in the winner's circle again. In the play-off you never know what is going to happen - anybody can make birdie - and luckily it was my day today."

He moves up to ninth in the Charles Schwab Cup money list.
